A US official said that Iraqi security forces will need to help the hundreds of military trainers before the attack due to the restoration of the city of Mosul Daash group. After the recent successes achieved by the Iraqi forces against Daash support of the United States, including the restoration of the city of Ramadi, the Pentagon calls for Iraq to launch an attack on
Mosul., Said Colonel Steve Warren - The spokesman for the international coalition - that there is a need for more trainers to increase capacity fighting Iraqi forces, he said, speaking to Pentagon reporters on video, "That is the next step to achieve the required combat power for the Liberation of Mosul size. We know that we need to train more brigades and forces trained in a lot of areas."
He added that required hundreds of trainers additional will be including the US, "but we also want to see the contribution of other partner countries and other members of the alliance and we expect everyone to contribute to the intensification of the best they can." Currently the United States contributes nearly 3,500 fighters in Iraq, their mission of training and advising Iraqi forces.
Comments come Warren, a day after the request of the Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter of the international coalition to provide more trainers, where Carter went to Paris to meet with a group of leading coalition countries in order to draw the fighting plans for the next phase Wednesday and met with defense ministers of France, Australia, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
US military leaders hoped that the six countries are continuing with other countries to encourage them to contribute to operations. He called Carter coalition countries and other Arab countries to increase the number of trainers to train the security forces and the Iraqi police, he said the United States is prepared to increase the number of trainers in Iraq, but on other countries to follow suit, as there is nothing forced the United States to do all that.
He added that the force commando own that the United States sent to Iraq has not yet begun its operations, which is expected to direct tasks include the collection of information even though the European countries participate heavily, the coalition would like to see more direct contributions - in equipment and training - whether Arab or Asian countries.
participated countries Arab air campaign in the early advance, but the share has diminished over time, especially after the escalation of the conflict between Saudi Arabia and the rebels in Yemen. Not invited any Arab country to the meeting but Carter said it was in talks with Arab leaders. There is also concern of Daash win the war propaganda and that meetings such as this is aimed at the elimination of this effort and send a message that the extremists are losing the battle.
The defense ministers held talks about restoring the important cities in Iraq and Syria. Already it asked the United States special operations and fighter jets and surveillance aircraft, weapons and munitions and other means to support the fighting forces, but the basic need is more trainers and Control devices Ktairat unmanned. Iraqi forces need more training in the field of specialized capabilities, including how to counter IEDs.
