    4:08:07 30.04.2016 |(Voice of Iraq) - Twilight News reported the US Embassy inBaghdad that US Vice President Joe Biden , who visited Iraq yesterday assured theIraqi leaders the importance of political stability to defeat al Daash.According to astatement of the embassy responded to Twilight News, that Biden held meetings with officials in theIraqi government ,including thePrime Minister Haider al -Abadi and Parliament Speaker Salim al - Jubouri ,the head of theKurdistan region of Iraq ,Massoud Barzani, as Biden spoke by telephone with thePresident of the Republic of Iraq Fuad Masum. He added that thevice president praised "the great achievements made ​​by theIraqi security forces, including thePeshmerga andpopular mobilization forces, on theground thebattle against Daash. " He noted the US embassy statement said Biden stressed US permanent commitment tohelping theIraqi government and the Iraqi people to defeat Daash, and to provide humanitarian aid to save thelives of more than 3.4 million internallydisplaced people and refugees in Iraq. as Biden said according to thestatement theimportance ofpolitical stability to maintain the momentum in the battle against Daash urged Iraqi leaders to continue topush thepolitical process forward wheel in ways that serve theinterests and aspirations of the Iraqi people. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
