Referred
the Ministry of Municipalities and Public Works studies and designs for
more than 15 projects for water on foreign companies during the current

He explained that the ministry has referred the preparation of studies
and technical specifications, designs and bills of quantities of the

German, as has the assignment contract design and implementation of
civil works and electromechanical processing and installation of

Baaj and Rabia card (16,000 m3 / h) in Nineveh province and the western

in the province of Muthanna to a Turkish company.


He said the Minister of Municipalities called on local governments in
the provinces need to speed up باستملاك land allocated for the
implementation of water projects, sewage before declaring the project as
there are many projects were suspended due to non-acquisition of land
required for its implementation, especially in the provinces, pointing
out that the Minister of Municipalities grant allocation of land for
government projects to urban planning departments in the provinces.


He explained that the Ministry's projects within the budget of the year
2013 amounting to 38 projects strategically in the areas of water and
sanitation, including 14 projects in the water sector, stressing that
the ministry signed during the last term contracts for the
implementation of 30 projects in all the provinces with foreign
companies and local sober, including projects streams Mosul, Tikrit,
Samarra and Dujail Baquba and Khalis, Hilla, Nasiriyah and Amarah.
