    BAGHDAD - The Journal News 
    reported the US Embassy in Baghdad on Saturday, the granting of the Kurdistan region of $ 480 million in humanitarian and military aid.
    A statement by the US Embassy in Baghdad received (Journal News) a copy of it, that "the US ambassador to Iraq, Stuart Jones visited Erbil and held meetings with senior political leaders, including the President of the Kurdistan region of Iraq, Massoud Barzani and Prime Minster Nechirvan Barzani and member of the political bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Barham Valid ".
    The statement added that "Jones discussed the political situation and plans for economic reform of US humanitarian and military aid amounting US $ 480 million, including more than $ 65 million was spent on food, fuel, ammunition and medical supplies provided to the Peshmerga in the past month."
