     Baghdad / term 

    Announced the investment committee of the Council of Wasit province, on Sunday, rejected the idea of privatization of the production ofelectric power plants, noting that Wasit thermal plant produces about 2,000 megawatts which feed a quarter of the national output of electricity. 
    The Chairman of the Investment Committee Hashim Zamili, in a statement received " term , " a copy of it, that" the privatization of the electricity sector that would cause the waste of public money and transfer stations from public ownership to private ownership, and it will lead to damage to the citizen directly, calling for " the entry of the private sector in the range of projects and small businesses and to be active role ofPresident in economy to the state sector. " 
    He called Zamili" the central government to implement the project in other areas and not in Wasit province ,being the energy - producing stable and needs to invest other projects serving the people of the province and not the contrary. " 
    He pointed to the need that" the State shall give the investor the ground, from the establishment of new stations and the import of new equipment and the investor will run the hands of an Iraqi worker then begins production ", refusing to " go to the ownership of production plants and the institutions of power and make it however individuals , but with the need for large production enterprises and the means of production are theproperty of the people all of the hands of the state . "and Zamili that " the local government in Wasit province plans to attract discreet companies to invest in the province, so it will be the announcement of new investment projects in the coming days."
