Twilight News / Research and Iraqi Oil Minister Jabbar Luaibi, on Wednesday, with Russia's LUKOIL is the second phase of plans to develop the West Qurna field in Basra province.
This came during a meeting with a delegation from the Allaibi Lukoil, headed by CEO Katie Jubouri, where the delegation presented congratulations on Allaibi take over his new position, according to a ministry statement reported for Twilight News.
The oil minister said that "the ministry attaches great importance to the work carried out by international companies working on the development of large oil fields, particularly Lukoil in the field (the West Qurna / Phase II)", stressing that "increasing the volume of cooperation with these companies and to serve the common interests." .
For his part, praised Katie "carefully ministry to cooperate with international companies and to provide appropriate working conditions that will help to implement the plans developed by the joint departments of oil fields."
And Twooqa Lukoil arrival output from West Qurna Phase II to 1.2 million barrels per day in 2021.
The West Qurna field, and one of the largest oil fields in Iraq, expert estimates suggest that it also contains oil reserves of 14 billion barrels.
