The State of Law coalition led by Nuri al - Maliki announced on Saturday (August 2016 27), for the collection of signatures in order to appeal to Article VIII of the General Amnesty Law, attributing this to the material will come out criminals and terrorists from prisons.
The House of Representatives had voted in its session of the 14th legislative term of the first third legislative year, on Thursday (August 25, 2016), headed by Parliament Speaker Salim al - Jubouri , a general amnesty law.
