Twilight News / Oil Minister Ali Jabbar Hussein Allaibi announced on Friday the launch of Nasiriyah refinery in the province of Dhi Qar to investment by local and international companies.
The oil minister said in a statement responded to the Twilight News, said the ministry and within its plans to develop the filter sector and expand the national production of oil derivatives, announces open the door for investment in front of staid companies to compete for the construction and operation of Nasiriyah refinery in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.
He said the oil minister on the importance of this vital project is to provide petroleum products for the country according to international standards and cover part of the local need, as well as the employment of thousands of citizens from the people of the province and the companies and the private services sector, thus contributing to the advancement of the economic reality of the city, calling on the parties concerned to overcome all the difficulties and administrative obstacles in order to speed up the referral of this project to the companies that offer the best deals.
Allaibi instructed the concerned departments in the ministry to speed up the referral of four other refineries investment companies which measures. "Kirkuk, Kut, Samawah, Basra."
