    The US Ambassador in Iraq Steven bikroft the country's commitment to support Iraq through FM governing bilateral relations.

    Iraq's economy will be the fastest growing in the world in 2013. "

    bikroft welcomed the success of Iraq and that it would seek to expand
    u.s. investment in Iraq, noting that bilateral trade relations is one of
    the most important priorities, especially when taking into account the
    importance of the support of the private sector in economic growth and
    the Elimination of unemployment and raising living standards. "..

    invest in Iraq.".

    Bikroft said "the United States Government
    reaffirmed its commitment to Iraq through the investment of
    approximately 8.8 billion US dollars since 2003 in infrastructure
    projects and to support civil society, democracy, and economic growth,
    as well as projects focused on humanitarian assistance, education,
    health, environment and the community support program of the u.s. Agency
    for international development to help communities in Dohuk, Anbar and
    Basra to complete 10, 000 local project, such as building schools and
    clinics, roads and water systems. "

    "Despite the departure of
    American troops, we continue to work with Iraq to rebuild its military
    in order to form a more professional and effective defence force
    contributing to the strengthening of peace and security in the region.


    Through the Office of security cooperation at the Embassy of the United
    States, we provide Iraq with aircraft and naval vessels to help protect
    its borders and the legitimate defence needs in the coming years.

    "Are
    our important military and human rights leadership and technical
    training of our military forces is part of a close and fruitful security
    relationship, which we expect to grow and evolve in the coming years."

    Bikroft
    said "the relationship between the United States and Iraq as a whole
    beyond the political, economic and security fields, and we are proud of
    the relations between the two peoples.

    We support arts programs,
    science, education, and build partnerships with universities across the
    country for establishing ties of partnership in education because of its
    great importance to both countries. ".

    "The United States will
    continue to real friendship with Iraq, and we will provide assistance as
    friends, as we will be honest as friends, and we will work together to
    achieve common goals as friends should do. This is the commitment of my
    Government and my personal promise.
