Parliament Speaker Salim al-Jubouri said on Thursday that "this year will be a year of excellence and victory over terrorism and extremism."
Jubouri said in a statement received by all of Iraq [where] a copy of it on the occasion of the new academic year on "the importance of attention to the educational process, and the need that this year will be new is the year of academic excellence as they will be in the victory over terrorism and extremism."
He added, "We look for fighters who are racing on the battlefield as we look to you today as you Taatsabakon to school ranks heading towards Excellency."
He pointed out that "the task performed by the teacher and the teacher and staff administrative and Mr. Minister of this ministry must inform the desired role, and that the executive branch is ready to make all the ways to support these efforts through the enactment of laws that contribute eminence of the educational process and build a new generation."
