Judiciary Chief Judge Medhat al-Mahmoud - Ed h-d
Twilight News president of the Federal Judiciary Judge Medhat al - Mahmoud / signed amemorandum of understanding with his Iranian counterpart Sadeq Amoli Larijani include cooperation in a number of judicial areas.
The judge said Mahmood in a joint press conference on the sidelines of the meeting of the Federal Judicial Authority headquarters in Baghdad meeting was attended by senior judicial officials of the two countries that "memorandum concerning files a lawsuit concern to the Iraqi and Iranian sides and is an extension of the agreements already signed in the year 2012".
Al - Mahmoud said that " the most prominent note items related to cooperation in the fight against terrorism and the smuggling of money and weapons, organized crime, crimes that areshaking the security of the country in general, and secure human rights and the rights ofvictims, and the development of judges capabilities and prosecution. "
for his part , praised Larijani during the conference , " the Iraqi judiciary and its role in achieving the sovereignty and independence of law , "pointing to" the need to deepen thejudicial relations between the two countries so as to achieve their interests. "
