Abu Rghief describes Cultural figures’ mission as “To eliminate political tensions”

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Cultural General Affairs House within the Ministry of Culture, the spokesman of Baghdad Capital of Arab Culture 2013, Nofel Abu Rghief, described “The mission of the Iraqi cultural figures as to eliminate the political tensions and to establish balanced statements.”
Speaking to IraqiNews.com, he said “Culture is the roof under which all the disputed sides meet since it is a human historical activity that eliminate limited titles.”
Earlier, the head of the Culture and Media Parlaimentary Committee, Ali al-Shalah, pointed out “There is no continuous communication between the cultural figures and the politicians and this issue needs the efforts of both sides.”
He stated to IraqiNews.com “The cultural figures are involved in the political process where some of them were candidates in the elections.”
