Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Culture and Media Parlaimentary Committee, Ali al-Shalah, pointed out “There is no continuous communication between the cultural figures and the politicians and this issue needs the efforts of both sides.”
He stated to IraqiNews.com “The cultural figures are involved in the political process where some of them were candidates in the elections.”
“Some cultural figures were convinced to keep away from the political issues,” he added,” stressing that “The political process will be enlightened if some of the cultural figures join it.”
