    Twilight News Turkish Prime Minister Ben Ali Yildirim / said that trade between his country and Iraq size fell by 40 percent due to the ongoing war in the region.
    He said Turkish Prime Minister at a joint news conference with his Iraqi counterpart, Haider al-Abadi in the wake of a meeting between the two sides in Baghdad, that "trade between Turkey and Iraq, the volume fell 40 percent because of terrorism and other circumstances."
    Iraqi - Turkish Supreme Council agreed on the importance of raising the level of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries in the field of reconstruction of areas affected by terrorism.
    The parties also agreed on activating the agreements and memoranda of understanding signed between the two parties.
    The trade exchange between the two countries amounts to about $ 12 billion, half of them with the Kurdistan Region before sweeping regulation Daesh north and west of Iraq, the summer of 2014.
