Agriculture expanded ban on poultry imports to include three European countries

The Ministry of Agriculture, today announced the expansion of its ban on poultry imports to include Serbia, Finland and Britain.
The agent said Agriculture Minister Mehdi al - Qaisi, in a press statement received "long" version of it, that the ministry "and sought a ban on imports of live poultry and frozen to include Serbia, Finland and Britain due to fears of the spread of bird flu."
Qaisi pointed out that "Iraq imports about 50 percent of its annual needs of poultry and depends on national production."

In 2016 , Iraq announced the first outbreak in the country ten years ago to breed , "HP 5 The 1" of the bird flu virus.
