    Baghdad/Obelisk said the decision of the Commission on economy mehma Khalil, Tuesday, the Commerce Department distributing two quantities to PDS during Ramadan to control high prices while providing food security and control over the exchange rate of the dollar.

    Khalil said "the Obelisk", "three factors must be activated to control high prices during the month of Ramadan: distribution of two quantities of the PDS and provide security mode to transport food from producing areas to consumer areas and install the dollar in the domestic market", stating that "traders promised, he added lentils to ration."

    Food prices rose markedly during the holy month of Ramadan.
