He
visited the British Ambassador to Iraq, Simon Cowles, Najaf
Governorate, and discussed with their portfolios commercial and
educational relations between the two countries.
According to a
statement by the British Embassy, Iraq received every [where] a
copyToday,The "Cowles visited Najaf yesterday as part of a programme of
visits includes several areas of Iraq, and while in town, the Cowles
with Najaf Governor Adnan Al tharfy, the opportunities for strengthening
joint cooperation in areas of trade and education".
"Cowles has
also toured the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), who said
after his tour, seeing the majestic mausoleum of Imam Ali [p] is an
administrator, as the experience of one is very modest, Najaf is the
center of learning for Shiite culture as one of the major cultural
centers in Iraq, and I'm glad because I know more about the role of the
estate and reference".
The Embassy said after his visit to the
shrine, Coles met with characters representing different currents and
organizations in the city, "adding that" the visit is part of regular
visits for representatives of the British Embassy, where they visited
Basra, Kut and Nasiriyah, Erbil and Sulaymaniyah, Dahuk during the past
