Economist confirms low inflation in Iraq more than previous years

Baghdad
(IBA). Economic expert Dr. Ahmed abrihi, Iraq witnessed a decline in
inflation rates is different from other years, indicating: the
cumulative increase in the General level of consumer prices reached 5,
40 percent until December 2012 differs from the 2007 rate.
Abrihi
said in a statement he made the independent press agency (IBA)
"inflation rates in Iraq are declining that annual inflation rate at 4.6
percent, and Iraq is mild compared with the levels of inflation in
emerging countries and oil.
Confirmed: the rate of inflation for 2012 low without rates in Iraq from the 1970s and so far ".
He
noted that detailed data published at the site of the Central
Organization for statistics and information technology refers to the
General level of consumer prices has increased during the last month of
last year. "
He abrihi: full year inflation rate between December
2011 and the same month 2012 amounted to 3.6 percent and is the lowest
annual inflation rate for the period since 2007. And this explains the
regular flow of goods and services and stabilize costs. "(End)
