Allawi: Iran is a stumbling block in front of "reconciliation" in Iraq
BAGHDAD ( Reuters ) -
said "Vice President" Iyad Allawi, he said Iran was still a stumbling block in front of "national reconciliation" in Iraq, accusing it of interfering in the internal affairs of the last resort.
Allawi said in a newspaper interview published on Wednesday that "the last meeting with the Iranian ambassador which raised a number of important issues, including non-interference of Iran in the affairs of Iraq and help him to build himself."
He added, "Iran is the main reason for many of the problems of Iraq, and has been and continues to be a stumbling block to the path of national reconciliation in the country , " noting that he was "put forward during the meeting with the ambassador to Tehran , the subject of his rock cliff and prevent the return of its people to it."
Allawi 's remarks came just days after the meeting with the Iranian ambassador to Iraq , Iraj mosques and discussed with him a number of important issues.
