A fire broke out in a 27-storey residential tower in central London on Wednesday, injuring at least 30 people.
Heavy fire covered the sides of the building as 200 firefighters battled the fire with the aid of 40 vehicles, and black smoke billowed into the air.
The London fire brigade said the fire charged all floors 2 to 2 of the Greenville Tower in Lancaster West.
Some British media said the fire surrounded some people and residents were screaming for help from the windows of the upper floors as the fire spread.
"A number of people are being treated for injuries, residents are being evacuated from the burning residential tower," police said.
The fire brigade said the cause of the fire was not yet known.
