Security Council answer to Townsend: We do not need your troops in Iraq
BAGHDAD, July 12 (UPI) - US forces will remain in Iraq after the liberation of Mosul, the Security and Defense Committee said on Wednesday. "The survival of American advisers and experts whether or not after the declaration of the liberation of the city of Mosul in full and to defeat the gangs back to the Iraqi government."
"We will not allow any foreign troops to remain on the ground, whether American or otherwise," said committee member Mohammad Naji. "Iraq will not need any foreign military presence," he said. Ending
