Yasiri calls for the creation of a judicial department specialized in issues of integrity

head of the Integrity Commission Hassan al-Yasiri on the need to establish a judicial department specialized in issues of integrity, the administrative link of the Authority and the technical council of the Supreme Judiciary to expedite the resolution of cases, especially the task of them and senior officials who assume responsibility in the state.
Al-Yasiri said in an interview with al-Sabah on the sidelines of his participation in the first annual conference held by the Iraqi Academy of Anti-Corruption: "The Commission has been keen to take care of the preventive aspect to combat corruption as well as the investigative investigative deterrent of investigative and judicial work," noting that " Seminars and workshops are ongoing and thousands of courses are held annually in coordination with the relevant departments. "
The Yasiri said that "
"The Commission has nine departments, one dedicated to investigations and the other dedicated to the preventive side and we have the Iraqi Academy for the fight against corruption, which is the task of training state employees of staff and control devices," noting that "Akadema is the third building in the world," Yasiri said that "the Commission annually holds a special scientific conference Today, the Academy held its first scientific conference and we note the presence of the presidents of universities and professors and many researchers, "pointing out that" most of the research presented highlighted the educational aspect of awareness of anti-corruption because we believe the importance of the next stage. "

He pointed out that "the Commission after the completion of its investigative work in the cases, referring them to the judiciary, for example the issues of the Council of Anbar and Salah Religion, since the investigation has been referred to them since the year 2015 to the judiciary, but the judicial procedures require time and we have decisions to prevent the travel of some ministers and agents and follow-up financial liability of state officials and illegal gain and we were able in 2016 to stop waste of about 2 trillion and half trillion Iraqi dinars.
"Many people do not know the nature of the work of the Commission and believe that it is an investigator, judge and executor, and this is contrary to the reality from the legal point of view, it is investigating and transmitting the results to the judiciary and ends its role," he said,
