500 displaced families return to Saadia

The director of the Saadiyya district in Diyala Ahmed al-Zarkushi, on Sunday, obtained official approvals for the return of about 500 displaced families to the north-east of the province.
Zarkouchi said in a press statement that "the Supreme Committee charged with checking the security of the files of displaced people of Saadia, gave the approval to the return of about 500 families, after the completion of the audit procedures in terms of security." "The al-Sa'idiya administration is waiting for the green light by the relevant government agencies to set the final date of return," the director of al-Nahiya said. "The past months have witnessed the return of hundreds of displaced families to their homes in the area."
