    Al-Jubouri stressed that "the Iraqi parliament is coming to the legislation and laws that promote the building of the state and contribute to open new horizons at all levels with the countries of the region."

    For his part, the Jordanian foreign minister stressed that Iraq is an important country for Jordan and all the countries of the region. The Jordanian government is keen to maintain relations between the two countries and push more efforts to expand cooperation and closer ties of brotherhood and good neighborliness to serve the interests of the two brotherly peoples.
