{Baghdad: Al Furat News} The Iraqi National Congress called on political leaders to adopt the logic of the state in dealing with the outside.
"The regional conditions in the region and the achievements made at home make it imperative for Iraq to play an influential role and to take a proper place, especially in its Arab environment," said Mohammad al-Moussawi, spokesman for the Iraqi National Congress.
He added that "the mutual openness between Iraq and its neighbors requires the general political leaders to adopt the logic of the State in dealing with the leaders of friendly countries away from any narrow interests of the category, the causes of isolation that was suffered by Iraq at some time, no longer exist.
Al-Moussawi said, "The Iraqi National Congress welcomes any visits or initiatives that would enhance Iraq's role and strengthen its standing among the other countries."
