    BAGHDAD / NINA / House Speaker Osama al-Nujaifi discussed with the
    British charge d'affaires, Robert Dean the political situation in Iraq.

    A
    statement by al-Nujaifi's Office said that "The two sides discussed the
    fast-moving events that have caused locally, regionally and
    internationally concern in conjunction with the continuity of the
    demonstrations in several provinces and also discussed the possibility
    of identifying scenarios to get out of this crisis."

    The
    statement added "Al-Nujaifi and the British charge d'affaires, discussed
    bilateral relations at all levels, particularly parliamentary, and ways
    of boosting them." / End
