(Baghdad: Al-Furat News) The Ministry of Industry and Minerals announced that its Minister Mohammed Shiaa al-Sudani received an official invitation from his Saudi counterpart to visit Riyadh, and to see the companies and techniques in them.
"During the visit of Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar al-Abbadi to Riyadh last October, he was part of his accompanying delegation, Minister of Industry and Minerals Mohammed al-Sudani, which was an opportunity to see a section of the existing companies and technologies," ministry spokesman Abdul Wahid al-Shammari said in a press statement. He added that "an official invitation was extended by the Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources in the Kingdom to his Iraqi counterpart, for the purpose of visiting the Kingdom and to see the successful experience in the industrial field."
