The government will block the ration card for those who do not register his electoral record
BAGHDAD - A spokesman for the media office of Prime Minister Saad al-Hadithi, the intention of the federal government to withhold the ration card for those who do not register his electoral record inside and outside Iraq.
Al-Hadithi said in a televised interview that "the decision is already in place and the main purpose is to verify, verify and verify the data and records of voters inside and outside Iraq."
He pointed out that "the Electoral Commission relies in its data and database in this regard on the database ration card located at the Ministry of Commerce."
Al-Hadithi added that "coordination is ongoing between the High Commission as the technical supervisor to hold the elections and the Ministry of Commerce as the source of information adopted by the Commission," adding that "the decision to cancel the ration card for those who did not happen his electoral card came to complete this process of verification and scrutiny."
