    Iraq news

Prime Minister Haider Abadi announced the start of his government to pay the salaries of staff of water resources of the Kurdistan Regional Government.

Abadi said in his weekly conference, we started to pay the salaries of staff of water resources in the region, and we have audited the salaries of education and health in the region.

He added that the Ministry of Finance was assigned to go to the region to check the salaries of all employees.

The Iraqi Prime Minister, Haider Abadi, has pledged repeatedly over the past few years, the salaries of employees of the Kurdistan region. But provincial officials say he is not serious.

The crisis that took place between Baghdad and Erbil several years ago because of the direct export of oil to the province, led to the government to cut salaries of staff of the region, coincided with the crisis with the control of the "Da'ash" on large land in Iraq.

The draft direct delivery of the salaries of the region is not new, Abadi suggested that the Kurdistan last year, in return for the delivery of oil revenue to Baghdad, which was rejected by the authorities of the Territory, but this condition became expired, after the Kirkuk oil fields became under the control of the central government .
