Fox News reported on its website that it was leaked from its sources and details what it said were the details of a meeting between Ali Khamenei and heads of the Iranian security services.
The report said that the Iranian regime "is in a state of terror because of the protests that are threatening and severely threatening, because it has damaged all sectors in the country, and must be discouraged."
The report cited what it said was "the system's vision of the need for religious leaders to take the scene as soon as possible, so as not to deteriorate further."
The report added that Khamenei told the security leaders: "God help us to overcome this situation is very complex and different from all previous events," which meant the protests that erupted in 2009.
Iranian reports indicate the death toll to 21, according to the Iranian authorities announced.
Protests against the Iranian regime erupt in 40 cities, including the capital, Tehran, amid chants such as "Death to the dictator" and "The guide lives like a god while the people live like beggars."
