    [ltr]The commander of the US Central Command, General Joseph Fotill, said that "Washington does not plan to withdraw its troops stationed near the city of Manbj north of Syria, despite the warnings of Turkey," according to the station "CNN" news.[/ltr]
    [ltr]"We are not thinking about withdrawing US troops from Manbaj," he told Reuters on a trip to the Middle East.[/ltr]
