    A member of the Committee on Security and Defense parliamentary, the details of the air strike that took place earlier this week in al-Baghdadi area west of Anbar, which claimed the lives of more than 28 dead and wounded, indicating that the security mission carried out by the "American force."
    The al-Baghdadi district of Hit district, 70 km west of Ramadi, saw a raid on a wanted terrorist on Friday night. The official security sources said different statements on the incident with what some of the parliamentary and local parties said. 
    Local officials in Anbar province told Al-Mada recently that the operation targeted a leader in the tribal buildup, which was carried out by a joint anti-terrorism force and American airborne personnel. 
    Officials then pointed out that a tribal force clashed with these factions for their belief that they were terrified, prompting those units to instruct US helicopters to fire counter-fire sources. 
    Nayef al-Shammari, a member of the parliamentary security and defense committee, said during a press conference held yesterday in the parliament building that a US combat force carried out the al-Baghdadi operation in western Anbar, killing 26 people.
    Al-Shammari said, "We followed with great concern the incident of al-Baghdadi, which resulted in casualties and martyrs of the security forces and civilians," noting that "the Committee on Security and Defense parliamentary and received field information by the US combat forces to implement this process." 
    Al-Shammari pointed out that "this operation has set a dangerous precedent and a clear violation of Iraqi sovereignty. In the most difficult security conditions, there is no need for any foreign combat forces. How have the capabilities and expertise of our armed forces reached the highest level and the most efficient experience?" 
    Shammari stressed that "the position of the Committee rejects any foreign forces and that the cooperation is limited to all information and intelligence coordination and training and provide consultation with the approval of the Iraqi government and the House of Representatives."
