" 
    Stressing that "the Department of Forensic Medicine, continue to conduct DNA matches in the remains of 359 martyrs of the victims of the massacre." 
    Al-Dakhili called on Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi to direct the relevant bodies to extract the remains of the Spyker martyrs to match the special samples between them and their families.
    But the work is not at the required level and the families of the martyrs are demanding to know the fate of their children and to obtain their gains guaranteed by the Iraqi constitution and approved by the Iraqi laws for them, "the first deputy said. 
    Many of the victims' families accuse the government of former Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki of transferring their children to Spyker base in the Tikrit governorate, which was on the outskirts of Tikrit. The terrorist groups were about to fall.

    The Minister of Justice Haider Zamili announced on Sunday (21 August 2016) the execution of 36 convicted of the crime of Spyker in Nasiriyah prison in the presence of officials and the media and a number of relatives of victims. The Federal Court of Cassation announced on August 7, 2016 The death sentences of 36 convicted of the Spyker incident to the Presidency of the Republic for ratification and issuance of orders for execution.
    On February 18, 2016, the Central Criminal Court in Baghdad sentenced 40 detainees to death for having participated in the execution of the Spyker crime and decided to release seven others for lack of evidence.
