A well-informed source said that US Assistant Secretary of State and Defense Department arrived in Baghdad.
The source, who asked not to be named, said that "the assistants of the US foreign and defense ministers arrived in the Iraqi capital Baghdad on an unannounced visit."
"The reasons for the visit are unknown," he said.
