    Information/Baghdad..
The deputy for the coordination framework, Muhammad Al-Shammari, considered, on Sunday, that the visit that US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin made without prior announcement or government coordination sent multiple messages to the region and Iraq.
Al-Shammari said in an interview with Al-Maalouma Agency, "The visit of the US Secretary of Defense to Iraq has several meanings behind it, which necessitates the government to provide clarification regarding such visits."

He added, "The visit aims to send clear messages that America is still present in Iraq and it is strong, calling for preserving national sovereignty and not allowing any American official or others to visit Iraq without prior announcement or government coordination."

A member of the Parliamentary Security Committee, Ali Nehme, called on the government to issue an explanation regarding the visit of the US Secretary of Defense to Iraq without any prior announcement. End / 25 hours
