    The Iraqi government has not concluded any deal with the Russian side to supply the air defense system (S-400), stressing at the same time the right of his country to import weapons from any A state of the world, and not limited to the United States of America.
    "To date, Iraq has not concluded any deal with Russia to import the air defense system (S400)," al-Hadithi said in an interview with an Arab newspaper. "Talk about this deal is only in the media."

    The news that Iraq was intending to make a deal with Russia to buy Russian weapons, including the S-400, Washington, led to a warning Baghdad and other capitals of the consequences of the deal.
    State Department spokeswoman Heather Noiret said her country would deal with these countries according to the law to confront America's enemies through sanctions.
