Parliament receives three billion dinars from the sanctions of the absence of its members

BAGHDAD / A parliamentary source announced on Sunday that the presidency of the House of Representatives has obtained imports worth three billion dinars, from the financial sanctions imposed on MPs.
The source told "Iraq News": The presidency of the parliament cut the amount of (500000) dinars of the salary of the deputy for each day absent from parliamentary sessions, noting that "the amount was transferred to the treasury of the federal government.
He added that " there are more than three billion dinars now in the account of the Iraqi parliament, adding that the amount will be returned to the treasury of the federal government."
