    Twilight News / Search U.S. Vice President Joe Biden, in a telephone conversation with the President of Kurdistan, Massoud Barzani, the security challenges faced by Iraq.

    He said the U.S. vice president's office said in a statement seen by "Twilight News," Biden said during the call "the continued commitment of the United States in partnership with Iraq to fight al-Qaeda."

    He added that the two sides discussed "the need for close coordination between Erbil and Baghdad to isolate terrorist organizations and networks", as well as important progress for Iraq to build good relations with neighboring countries, including Turkey.

    Search U.S. Vice President Joe Biden, also in a telephone conversation with President of Kurdistan, Massoud Barzani, the end of last month, "challenges" political and security faced by Iraq.

    Iraq looks forward to getting sophisticated American weapons, including aircraft "F-16" to fight al-Qaeda, which began to regain its influence in recent months.
