    The Japanese Embassy in Iraq announced on Sunday that it is offering a loan to complete a project in Dhi Qar province.
    "Japan's ambassador to Iraq, Fumio Iwai, visited the East Gharraf area of ​​Dhi Qar province to attend the ceremony of completion of the Japanese yen loan project, the loan of the irrigation sector," the embassy said in a statement.
    He added that "the cost of this project is estimated at 9.414 million dollars, and was completed with funding from the Japanese loan, in order to enhance agricultural production capacity and increase employment opportunities in Iraq in the medium and long term through the installation of pumping stations in the province.
