Baghdad (news) .. Parliamentary Finance Committee warned the application of a proposed distribution of oil revenues to the citizens, as it will increase the rates of inflation in the country and will affect the federal budget.

The Vice-Chairman of the Committee MP Ahmed Faizullah (of the Agency news): that the proposal made by some of the blocks to distribute part of the oil revenues to the people hurt the budget and the national economy through higher rates of inflation in the country, and therefore will affect the value of the Iraqi dinar.

He added: revenue can not be distributed in cash, but can be distributed through the provision of services and projects beneficial to the citizens, and diversification of the ration card items, stressing that the adoption of this proposal will create a major economic disaster in the country.

The Liberal bloc in Parliament confirmed that it will not vote on the federal budget for the year 2014 if it does not include the distribution of part of the oil revenues to citizens.
