    The Parliamentary Services Committee revealed the existence of "corruption" in the "collection" in the Municipality of Baghdad.
     
    "If there were corruption, the money would have been sufficient to provide better services to Baghdad and its people," said committee member Abdul Hussein al-Azerjawi, in a press statement. "There is corruption in the collection of the trust of Baghdad," adding that there is a surplus of money collected from the Baghdadi "He said.

    "There is a selectivity in imposing levies and fines on citizens and owners of shops," Azerjawi said.

     
    He explained that "some of the amounts imposed are reduced by teams of the Secretariat against bribes obtained from the owner of the shop or citizen," noting that "such cases and many must be stopped."
