    Information / Baghdad ..
The Tourism Authority denied on Sunday the news that the tourism sector in the country was affected by the protest demonstrations, stressing that religious tourism has seasons and times especially the season of Muharram and the season of martyrdom and birth of the imams.
"The religious tourism will not be affected by the demonstrations and there are wide preparations by the relevant authorities before the holy month of Muharram to receive tourists," said the director of relations and information in the Authority Mohammad al-Rafi'i.
He added that "some people are trying to mix the papers to create such false news," stressing that "tourism has seasons and specific times that Iraq receives millions of tourists and from all countries."
He pointed out that "the month of July does not have any religious occasion and therefore witness the tourism movement stagnation," pointing out that "talk about the impact of the tourism sector of the current demonstrations is not healthy and meant to mix the papers." Ending / 25
