A member of the House of Representatives revealed the list of the Kurdistan Islamic Group Ahmad Haj Rashid, for each deputy receives during the month.
Rashid said in a press statement that "according to resolution 282 issued by the Iraqi government, the salary of the parliament is equal to the salary of the minister and regulated by law and receive 7 million and 600 thousand dinars per month."
"He also receives a monthly member of the Parliament of the amount of 17 million dinars as salaries to the members of his protection is placed directly in his bank account, which is distributed to members of the protection."
"Each member of parliament has 16 members of the protection, with a total salary of 17 million dinars, and with his salary, the total of the parliamentarian receives more than 24 million dinars.
And the calculation process based on the figures said by the MP, the total of what the members of the House of Representatives [329 deputies] at this session, two billion and 500 million and 400 thousand dinars per month [329 Number of deputies X 7600000 dinars monthly salary].
As for the number of members of the House of Representatives - according to the words of Deputy Rachid also - the amount of 5264 elements, [16 individuals X 329 deputies], and each of them, the 16 allocated to the deputy one - according to the words of Deputy - Rashid, two million and 62 thousand and 500 dinars.
In other words, the total number of members receiving the protection of deputies [5264] per month is five billion and 593 million dinars.
And by collecting the salaries of members of parliament and their protectors, the allocation allocated to them from the state budget monthly is 8 billion and 93 million and 400 thousand dinars.
In this calculation, it allocates to them annually 97 billion and 120 million and 800 thousand dinars, and since the age of the parliamentary session is equivalent to 4 years legislative, the total of these salaries for deputies and protect them 388 billion and 438 million and 200 thousand dinars.
