BAGHDAD / - Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi issued Sunday a decree defining the duties of the head of the Prime Minister's Office.
"Based on the powers granted to us under the Constitution, and based on the requirements of the public interest, we decided the following:
First: Dr. Nawfal Abu Al-Shun al-Hasan, the Director of the Prime Minister's Office, is empowered by the powers entrusted to us to manage the Prime Minister's Office in the following aspects:
1- Implement the directives of the Prime Minister and address all the official bodies as required by the work of the Prime Minister's Office and follow-up with the concerned authorities regarding the implementation of the government program of the Prime Minister.
2. Exercising all administrative powers, including the powers of appointment in the Prime Minister's Office, and deciding all matters of service, discipline and retirement
