Identify three locations for the establishment of an industrial zone between Iraq and Jordan

The Ministry of Industry confirmed on Monday that talks with the Jordanian side on the establishment of the industrial zone between the two countries, indicating that there are three places set for the establishment of the project and so far has not been the final agreement.
"The talks and discussions are continuing with the Jordanian side on the establishment of the industrial zone between the two countries," ministry spokesman Abdul Wahid al-Shammari told Iraq News. "There are three places identified for this project.
He added that "on the mechanism of work of the project, whether investment or the two governments have not been agreed upon and this will be discussed in the coming days to determine the fundamentals of the project and then we announce the full details of the start of construction project."
Jordan and Iraq earlier set out a timetable and a detailed work program for the executive procedures for the establishment of the joint industrial zone between the two countries, according to Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Tariq Hamouri.
Al-Hamouri and his Iraqi counterpart Saleh al-Jubouri agreed on the practical steps necessary to establish the industrial zone on the border between the two countries with the aim of boosting economic cooperation in various fields, especially trade and investment. The steps should be speeded up and started within days.
