A member of [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/6792/%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%84%D8%AC%D9%86%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%8A%D8%A9]the Finance Committee[/url] in the House of Representatives Jamal Couger in a press statement: "The Committee held its first meeting last Tuesday, during which the review of paragraphs and articles of the Federal Budget Law for 2019 in preparation for dividing into two parts, the first includes the separation of articles agreed between the parliamentary powers, Controversial articles for amendment ".
"The parliamentary finance committee started hosting some officials and ministers to present their comments on the budget law," he said. "The first of these additions was allocated to the minister of culture, Abdul-Amir al-Hamdani, who took him for nearly four hours."

He pointed out that "the most important ministries received comments in the budget law, which is present at the invitation of the parliamentary committee are the ministries: oil, electricity, defense and interior," noting that "the number of ministries and bodies identified in the list of additions up to eight."
