Lebanon calls for the return of Syria to the Arab League

The Foreign Minister of the Lebanese Caretaker Government, Gebran Bassil, called for the return of Syria to the League of Arab States.
"Syria must come back to stop the loss of ourselves before we stop it," Basil told a summit of Arab foreign and economic ministers hosted by Beirut.
He added that "Syria must be in our lap instead of throwing it in the arms of terrorism," as he put it.
