    The head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Iraq, Katrina Ritz, announced Tuesday that ICRC President Peter Maurer will visit Iraq next week.
    "The undersecretary for legal affairs and multilateral relations, Ambassador Hazim al-Youssafi, received the head of the International Red Cross Mission in Iraq, Katrina Ritz, and the deputy head of the mission, Krikor Meuler, at the ministry's headquarters," a statement from the Iraqi Foreign Ministry said.
    "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is keen to facilitate the mission of the Red Cross and to provide the necessary support and support for the success of its mission in Iraq at all levels of humanity and development," the statement said, praising the efforts of the mission, especially in areas liberated from terrorist gangs.
    For her part, Ritz said that "the president of the International Committee of the Red Cross will visit Iraq next week to meet with a number of Iraqi officials, praising the high cooperation between the Iraqi government and the mission." Ending / 25
