(Baghdad: Al-Furat News) is scheduled to be held for the first time a tourist meeting in the city of Sulaymaniyah, with the participation of many investors and major companies in the field of tourism from several countries.
A spokesman for the General Directorate of Tourism in Sulaymaniyah said on Sunday that the activities of the first tourism forum under the theme of "The Nargis Tourism Forum" will be launched on February 21, 2019 at the Grand Millennium Hotel, with the participation of tour operators from south and central Iraq, Lebanon.
He added that the forum will witness the participation of local products and products of these countries, to see the tourist area in Sulaymaniyah and encourage investors to invest in tourism.
He pointed out that the aim of the forum is to strengthen relations with tourism companies in southern and central Iraq, Iran, Lebanon and the Netherlands, so that they bring tourists to Sulaymaniyah and thus benefit investors and entrepreneurs from tourism.
