    (Baghdad: Al-Furat News) Minister of Construction and Housing, Benek Rikani, announced on Friday the approval of the Council of Ministers to raise the ceiling of housing fund loans.
    Rikani said in a tweet on Twitter: "a new achievement with the approval of the Council of Ministers on the proposal of our ministry to raise the ceilings of lending from the Housing Fund." 
    He explained that "the ceiling of lending to the residents of Baghdad 50 million, while the ceiling of lending to the provinces of 40 million, and the district districts and districts 35 million dinars." 
    Commenting on the decision, Rikani said: "Towards further steps to contribute to alleviate the housing crisis and restore the civilized face of our cities."

    It is noteworthy that Iraq is suffering from a severe housing crisis due to the growing number of Iraq 's population , compared with the number of residential complexes and units, in addition to the inability of citizens with limited income from the construction of its own housing units because of the high cost of land and construction materials.

    BAGHDAD - 
    The Ministry of Construction and Housing announced on Saturday to raise the ceiling of lending to the Housing Fund to 50 million. 
    "The Council of Ministers agreed to raise the ceiling of housing fund loans of one of the Ministry's formations, up to 50 million Iraqi dinars," the minister of reconstruction and housing said in a statement received by Mawazine News. 
    Rikani added that "the ceiling lending to the population of Baghdad has become 50 million dinars, while the ceiling of lending provinces of 40 million dinars, and the district and districts of the regions 35 million." 
    He pointed out that he continued his efforts "towards further steps to contribute to alleviate the housing crisis and restore the civilizational aspects of our cities".
